Vouch vs AI sourcing tools (Juicebox, Dover, Paraform)

Updated

Juicebox is search software your own team runs, Dover is a free applicant tracking system with a marketplace of outside recruiters, and Paraform is a network of outside recruiters working with AI agents. Vouch runs the whole search for you, interviews every candidate itself, and charges only when someone signs an offer.

Juicebox

Juicebox calls itself the AI Recruiting Platform, with natural-language search over 800 million profiles and outreach sequences. Its pages say it is built for recruiters, so you, or a recruiter you work with, run the searches and the outreach.[1][2]

When we read it, the page listed a free plan, paid plans from $99 per seat per month on yearly billing, and a Juicebox Agents add-on at $199 per agent per month.[2]

Dover

Dover offers a free applicant tracking system with unlimited users, jobs and candidates, a Premium plan at $199 a month, and a marketplace of recruiters. On Dover's pricing page, recruiters set their own rates and you choose the model with them: hourly, retainer or pay-per-hire.[3]

Paraform

Paraform calls itself an agentic hiring platform, with a marketplace of outside recruiters in one place. It says that its expert recruiters and custom agents find, vet and hire candidates, and that it has more than 10,000 recruiters. Its page for companies says it works on a success-based model: a flat percentage of first-year base salary, only on a hire. A May 2026 article on its site puts fees around 20 to 25% of first-year salary.[4][5][6]

Paraform vs Juicebox

Juicebox is search software your own team runs: it says it is built for recruiters, and it charges per seat. Paraform is a marketplace of outside recruiters working with AI agents, and it is paid a percentage of first-year base salary when you hire. With Juicebox your team runs the sourcing and the outreach, by hand or through its add-on agents; with Paraform, outside recruiters do. Neither company's pages say it interviews every candidate itself before you see a name, which is what a firm like Vouch does.[1][2][4][5]

Vouch

  • Vouch runs the search across its own pre-screened pool, your ATS and network, and the open web.
  • It interviews every candidate before you see a name, and a recruiter reviews every shortlist.
  • You get a fit score out of 5 against your must-haves and a written verdict on each person, usually within a week of the intake call.
  • The fee is 10% of first-year base salary, only when an offer is signed. See the terms.

Questions founders ask

How does Paraform compare to Juicebox for sourcing candidates?

Juicebox is software: your team runs the search and the outreach, by hand or through its add-on agents, and it charges per seat. Paraform is a service: outside recruiters and its AI agents do the sourcing, and it is paid only on a hire. Pick Juicebox if you have someone to run the search, and Paraform if you want outside recruiters to run it. Neither says it interviews every candidate itself before you see a name.[1][2][4][5]

Is Juicebox a recruiting agency?

No. Juicebox sells recruiting software: it calls itself the AI Recruiting Platform, says it is built for recruiters, and prices its plans per seat. It lists staffing agencies among the companies that use it. Its pages describe search, outreach and agents, not a service that fills your role.[1][2]

Does Paraform charge a placement fee?

Yes in effect, though its page for companies does not use those words. That page says Paraform works on a success-based model and receives a flat percentage of first-year base salary only on a hire. A May 2026 article on its site puts fees around 20 to 25% of first-year salary, with nothing to pay until a hire starts. Confirm the current rate with Paraform.[5][6]
